Bitten by the dog

In my high school history class, while learning about the American civil rights movement of the 1960’s, a fellow student asked: “How could those civil rights activists put up with being bitten by dogs?” Another classmate replied: “Would you have rather been bitten by a dog or treated like one?”

Question: Are you focused on your freedom and moving towards it or are you too busy counting the cost?

Either way, there is a price to pay.

You can face the temporary discomfort endured by all of those who choose the path of change or you can live with the discomfort of a life enslaved to apathy and quiet desperation.

It’s up to you.
