It’s okay if your ideas aren’t great. Great ideas are “out there.” If you follow through on the best ideas you already have, you’ll eventually be led to them.
When we act on our creative ideas-
in whatever way we can,
using whatever information we have,
no matter how imperfect our creations turn out to be,
the process of working with them will reveal some aspect of ourselves that was previously concealed by inexperience, self-doubt and fear.
All acts of creation lead to self-discovery.
Creativity is not about what our ideas are made of — It’s about what we’re made of.
As we grow in the knowledge of who we are, we become increasingly more capable of embodying the energy of such knowledge in our work.
The personal revelations that emerge from actually doing creative work are the substance from which our greatest achievements will be eventually formed.
