The space between the notes

“Music is the space between the notes.” -Claude Debussy

”You can’t make music without putting space between the notes.

Silence is as essential as sound in the composition of a song.

Life is no exception.

The results we create aren’t merely the product of what we do, but also of what we don’t do.

Whatever you’re in the process of composing, arranging, or orchestrating, be sure to remember the essentials of non-doing.

Leave room for stillness. Make space for silence. Know when to stop.

These are some of life’s major keys to being a difference maker and not just a noise maker.

That’s my two cents.

Cheers,
