The path of maximum inspiration

If you remain a slave to your current undesirable conditions, life may be difficult, but at least you’ll know what you’re dealing with. Most of your decisions will be made for you and, although you wont always enjoy that fact, you’ll be free from the burden of making tough choices and wrestling with uncertainty.

If you make a break for freedom, you’ll find yourself in an environment that doesn’t provide neatly packaged answers to the essential questions. Sometimes you’ll have to make up your own answers or just learn to be comfortable without any answers at all.

Slavery is not without benefit nor is freedom without sacrifice.

No matter which path you choose, there will be luxuries you’ll have to leave behind and challenges you’ll need to transcend.

Here’s today’s two cents:

Don’t choose your path based on the one that seems to have the least amount of contrast. Choose the one that inspires you so much that it compels more of your attention than any of the bullshit you have to go through along the way. The way to well-being is not the path of least resistance, but the path of maximum inspiration.

    1. Hi Jane,

I’m humbled that you feel inspired to pass it along to those people. I hope they find something of practical use in my words. Feel free to let them know that I’ll say a prayer today for them and all of those who have suffered abuse.

      Thank YOU,

      TK
