Everyone is creative. It’s just a matter of properly channeling the direction in which your creative energy is flowing.
You’re always creating. If you’re not creating what you want, you’re creating a story about why you can’t have it or a story about why you’re not allowed to be happy without it. Either way, you’re creating.
It even takes creativity to avoid creative work. It’s simply not possible to abstain from the creative process without demonsrating a considerable portion of imagination and personal power.
Here’s today’s two cents:
Creativity isn’t about learning to paint, taking pottery classes, or wearing the coolest clothes (although it most certainly can include those activities). Creativity is about getting off auto-pilot, taking charge of your inner world, and making the commitment to live your life deliberately.
No matter what you do, you’re creating. You might as well do it in a way that makes you happy.
