Being unhappy is not a sin

There’s a difference between the unwanted and the unethical.

The unwanted is simply that which displeases you.

The unethical is that which violates a moral code.

Unhappiness may be unwanted, but it’s not unethical.

Being displeased is not the same as being guilty of a moral crime.

Don’t complicate your life by turning the pursuit of happiness into some kind of test that God is going to punish you for not passing.

Happiness is not a contest and unhappy people are not losers.

We all have the right to be happy, but not because our unhappiness is wrong.

The fact that a person FEELS bad does not mean THEY ARE bad.

That’s today’s two cents.

Cheers,

T.K. Coleman

    1. Always a pleasure, Audrey. This has been a valuable lesson for me and I keep it close to my heart on those days when I feel disconnected. I hope you do the same. Cheers to our well-being 🙂 -TK
