You don’t have to be impressed with yourself in order to make a positive impression on others.
Sometimes we hit the nail on the head. Sometimes we hit the hammer on the hand AND, EVEN THEN, the world is moved by the authenticity of our effort, our struggle, and our honest attempts to cope and create in the midst of pain.
If we only allow the world to see us or our creative work when we think we look good, our personal growth will be stunted and those whom we are best equipped to help will be deprived of their opportunity to benefit from the unfolding of our journey.
Sometimes our beauty is in our mess and the greatest success can be the willingness to offer what we have even when it’s not our best.
That’s T.K.’s Two Cents!
