How deep is our love?

Commander Lock: Dammit, Morpheus. Not everyone believes what you believe.
Morpheus: My beliefs do not require them to.

It’s easy to imagine that our efforts to improve the lives of others stems entirely from a pure place of deep compassion for those who are “lost” or in need.

But as soon as people vote for the “wrong” guy, place their faith in the “wrong” God,  base their choice on the “wrong” advice, or respond to our offering of assistance with the “wrong” attitude, we get an opportunity to see just how deep our love goes.

Great, indeed, is the love that is willing to help another.

Greater still is the love that is not transformed into hate when such help is refused.

That’s today’s two cents.

Cheers,

  1. Nice as always T.K. “Greater still is the love that is not transformed into hate when such help refused” it certainly sound like a Christlike type of love brother. I wish one day every single one us could practice this type of attitude towards each other, assisting others with no expectations in return.
