It happens by mistake

The professional isn’t someone who makes LESS mistakes.

The professional is someone who makes MORE mistakes precisely because they’re professionals and, as such, are committed to challenging themselves at higher levels than what is demanded by casual interest.

What separates the professional from the non-professional is neither money nor skill, but rather the willingness to get on the dance floor with failure for the sake of procuring the lessons and opportunities that uniquely belong to those who are willing to endure the messiness of the creative process.

Many people haven’t turned pro because they’re still waiting for their mistakes to disappear.

The secret they don’t know?

Becoming pro begins with choice and happens by mistake.

That’s today’s two cents.
