The final stage of ‘not getting it’ is when you think ‘I’ve got it’, but you’re still very angry with all the people who ‘don’t get it.’
Then, you master that anger.
You learn to loosen the grip that it has over you.
You become less attached to the process of drawing demarcation lines and more preoccupied with basking in your own bliss, compassionately respecting everyone’s journey for what it is, and channeling your feelings in a constructive direction.
That’s when you’ve ‘got it.’
But, by the time you’ve ‘got it’, your ego is no longer around to boast about how much you’ve got.
