Sometimes, you’re simply not going to get a satisfying answer to that question.

The inexplicable is inevitable, and the willingness to endure enigmas is a necessary condition for sanity.

Perplexing personalities and controversial characters will always be among us.

If you can tolerate that fact, you’ll have a lot of good days.

But when you make your inner peace dependent on your ability to make sense out of everyone who behaves differently from you, then you set yourself up to be a victim of something you neither can nor need to control.

At least that’s the way I see it.
