Above all else, an artist must create for himself.

He must be compelled by his own need to feel alive and driven by his own internally manufactured sense of destiny.

Any attempts to improve the world, impact society, or make a difference must be an extension of the creator’s capacity to be thrilled for the sake of being thrilled.

No one can move the world unless he can first be moved by the world without a need for approval from the world
