When I was a kid and the Chicago Bulls would lose in the playoffs, I’d always grab my basketball and play furiously in the backyard. I told myself that I would practice real hard, get drafted by the Bulls, and then win a title for my city. I guess that’s how I dealt with the pain.
That dream never came true, but I have no regrets. It’s fun to dream of doing great things. It’s fun to see how hard a dream can make you push yourself.
Congrats to Lebron James on achieving his childhood dream. City of Cleveland, enjoy your first NBA championship.
Goodnight to a historic and heartfelt 2015-2016 NBA Season.
