If you can’t be positive, be desperate

In football, the “Hail Mary” isn’t ran because of a belief that it will work. It’s ran because there’s an acknowledgment that there are no other options.

Belief in a positive outcome isn’t always necessary for taking risks.

Sometimes we simply do what we have to do for no other reason than that we’ve tried everything else.

If you can’t be positive, be desperate.

When your back is against the wall, a little desperatation can take you a long way.

If you feel like your life is just the way you want it to be, then sit back, relax, and let everything come to you.

If, however, you’re sick and tired of being sick and tired, then here’s my two cents:

Stop demanding more evidence that change will work, get serious about the frustration you feel, and take a chance, no matter how bad the odds are, on creating something better than the life you already know and hate.

You will never be unworthy of life’s blessings

For some, the definition of “worthiness” means that one has suffered enough to deserve what they have. According to this notion, you are worthy of heaven only if you’ve been through hell.

Many people, who are influenced by this understanding, spend considerable time trying to ensure others that they’ve endured enough adversity to measure up.

These are the types who are deathly afraid of being seen as the stereotypical spoiled rich kid that’s never had to work for anything.

Here’s my two cents:

No matter what you achieve or attract, and regardless of how much or little effort you make in the process, there will always be someone who deems you unworthy of the blessings life bestows on you.

You’re not on this planet to prove yourself to those people.

You’re here to experience the joy of being a creative outlet for the ideas and sentiments seeking unique expression through your individuality.

Life is not a debt paid to any of us because of how good we’ve been or how hard we’ve worked. It’s freely granted to all as part of a Cosmic Conspiracy to showcase Divine Beauty and shower Infinite Love in all directions.

We never have to prove or earn our worth. We are already as priceless as we’ll ever be. And the tangible and intangible treasures gifted to us by this Benevolent Universe is only a partial instantiation of that pricelessness.

So, allow yourself to live the heavenly life you deserve and to hell with everything else.

That’s T.K.’s Two Cents.

5 conversational rights that can make your life easier

1. You have the right to speak for yourself (even when others think they can do a much better job at expressing your views than you can).

2. You have the right to honestly express yourself (even when others do not like or agree with what you have to say).

3. You have the right to complete your sentences (even if other people think they already know what you’re going to say).

4. You have the right to be treated with respect (even if your ideas or suggestions are despised).

5. You have the right to terminate conversations with those who don’t honor the aforementioned rights.

That’s my two cents.
