If New Years is just like any other day, then why NOT play?

‎”New Year’s eve is like every other night; there is no pause in the march of the universe, no breathless moment of silence among created things that the passage of another twelve months may be noted; and yet no man has quite the same thoughts this evening that come with the coming of darkness on other nights.” ~Hamilton Wright Mabie

We can spend this New Years reminding all of our friends of how this is just like any other day or we can take advantage of a perfectly legitimate excuse to play around with those who’ve decided to have a good time.

In one sense, New Years is just another marking on the calendar. Yet, there are few other days when so many souls consciously strive to make the best of themselves.

This is a time when many people are poignantly focused on the idea of change.

Such mass enthusiasm creates a powerful vortex of playful energy and creative inspiration. New Years celebrations can be a wonderful opportunity to expand our joy and accelerate our spiritual evolution by tapping into this vortex.

There is a great tidal wave of thought pointed in the direction of renewal and reinvention.

If we are open, we can ride this wave to unexplored shores.

Why NOT celebrate the possibilities of a new season?

What do we have to lose?
