The goal is not the goal

The version of you that tries and fails is superior, in every way, to the version of you that doesn’t try at all.

The main purpose of a goal is not the goal itself, but the movement towards self-actualization which it inspires.

There is no distinction between the taking of a creative risk and the decision to consciously participate in one’s own spiritual and psychological evolution.

Like the yellow brick road of Oz, if you follow your dreams, the path will take you on an adventure that is as frightening as it is thrilling. But when you “arrive”, you’ll discover that the real magic was inside of your soul all along and the road you traveled was simply one of self-discovery.

Take a risk. Face your fears. Follow the yellow brick road. Success or not, the knowledge of your True Self awaits.

Cheers,

T.K. Coleman
