Being Substantial > Being Seen

If a million people decided to start following you today, that fact wouldn’t make you an ounce more worthy of being followed.

Popularity doesn’t equal the power to build character.

It feels good to be heard, seen, favorited, liked, and retweeted, but if you want to do the kind of work that will last beyond your lifetime, your commitment to self-actualization has to precede all of these things.

Fame doesn’t equal impact. If you ever get the former, don’t forget the latter.
